Year 12 students, Tara Tomović and Kosta Marković, along with their Digital Media and Design teacher, Ms Lora Mitić, visited the European animated film festival – Balkanima.

The students had the pleasure to enjoy seeing short European animated films, and they also took this opportunity to meet and talk with Mr Rastko Ćirić, a Serbian multimedia artist, whose fields of interest are graphics, illustration, comics, animation and music.

A unique experience for our students

Balkanima has existed for 18 years and the main goal of the festival is to present short European animated films, student films, as well as additional programmes related to the world of animation (lectures, exhibitions, workshops, multimedia events).

This was a unique experience that helped Tara and Kosta strengthen their connection with animation and similar visual art forms.
