School stories

International School students once again showed their kindness and generosity by helping the children who need it the most. In the past few weeks they collected warm clothes and everything they thought could help them feel loved and cared for.

Since the students attend the school online due to the epidemiological situation in our country, Global Perspectives teacher, Tatjana Koluvija, visited the Drop-In Centre and handed the gifts prepared with so much joy.

The Drop-In Centre is a service that has existed since 2007 and is intended exclusively for children who live and work on the streets of Belgrade. It has worked with over 1000 children and young people over the last 13 years, and currently supports boys and girls aged 5 to 15 who live in a situation of extreme poverty, almost all of them, in informal settlements.

Everyone should look up to the students of the International School and provide these children with the things they need, such as warm clothes, shoes, hygienical supplies, school books, snacks, toys…

Helping others makes a huge difference for everyone involved, not just for those in need. International School students made the kids from Drop-In Centre happy and showcased their altruism. And they made all of us proud.
