At the beginning of March, Savremena International School had the honour of hosting the English language competition organised by the HIPPO association within the Pearson group for international qualifications.

In the competition, Savremena’s students were able to put their English skills to the test and one of them, Viktor Tomanovski graduated onto the semifinals which will be held at the beginning of April.

Success at an international level

With over 32 000 students from 10 countries around the world taking part in the competition, all of whom aspiring to reach the final level and attain international certifications for the B2 level (CEFR) and the two-day trip to the city of LIdo di Jesolo which is reserved only for the finalists.

Bearing in mind the large number of participants as well as the knowledge level necessary to ascend to the next level, it is clear how significant Viktor’s ranking truly is.

Encouraging the competitive spirit

Savremena International School, in addition to offering many interesting extracurricular activities, strives to enable its students to apply and demonstrate their skills and compete against their peers from around the world. We believe that such experiences not only hold great educational value, but they are also useful for developing time management skills and learning to handle responsibility.
