School stories

Savremena International School student, Tara Ćulibrk, represented our school at the national swimming championship. The competition was held on the 13th of May at the Čair sports centre in Niš, where demonstrated her excellent swimming skills and won fifth place.

An excellent ranking despite the fierce competition

Savremena’s representative swam in the freestyle category and despite the stiff competition she was able to demonstrate an impressive degree of endurance and commitment. Tara competed against students who were a year or two older than her, but that didn’t stop her from give it her best and finish fifth in the race.

Given that this was Tara’s first school championship, her success is all the more significant. Tara’s commitment love and enthusiasm towards the sport are what ensured her success in this as well as all her other competitions.

Developing through sports

Savremena International School encourages sportsmanship and physical activity as a great way for students to develop their talents and improve overall. It is especially important for our students to stay healthy and active in order to grow and mature in the best possible way.

Tara is a prime example of a responsible and dedicated student athlete and we would hereby like to congratulate her on her success as we eagerly await her next triumph that we know is yet to come.
