After three years of virtual gatherings, the XXII Conference of the Petnica Science Centre, themed “A STEP INTO SCIENCE”, made a triumphant return to the centre. Participants presented their year-long scientific research. Alongside the centre’s bright minds and their mentors, the event featured special guests as well.

Nastasija Đorđević, a Year 13 student, in collaboration with her partner, delved into the field of psychology, specifically exploring attitudes among adolescents towards individuals with autism. The duo, working closely with their mentor, successfully validated their hypotheses and seized the opportunity to present their findings.

Their work provided valuable insights into the nuanced attitudes prevailing among adolescents

In a seminar dedicated to psychology, Nastasija and her partner’s research shed light on the complexities of adolescent perspectives on autism. Their work not only confirmed existing hypotheses but also provided valuable insights into the nuanced attitudes prevailing among this group.

The conference served as a platform for intellectual exchange, with Nastasija’s presentation standing out as a testament to the dedication of the Petnica Science Centre’s young researchers.
