School stories

Lower Secondary and Year 10 students who are learning Spanish, accompanied by their Spanish teacher Simona Kojić, visited the Cervantes Institute. This was a great opportunity for them to learn new and interesting things about Spanish and Hispanic-American Culture from the friendly and dedicated staff of the Institute.

They enjoyed the interactive class and presentation, played games, and visited the exhibition “Architecture in Spain in the 21st Century: The Flourishing of Architecture through the Eyes of Ricardo Santonja” that is currently taking place. They also had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of the Cervantes Institute for the Spanish language and the preservation of cultural heritage, as well as to refresh their knowledge of the Spanish language.

Our students also visited the rich library José Hierro within the Institute, which possesses a fantastic and very important collection of books, movies, comics and dictionaries in Spanish, and some of them become library members.

Amazing Thursday at the Institute for Lower Secondary students

Two days later, Lower Secondary students, together with their Spanish teacher Simona and Social studies teacher Mihajlo Karna, were the guests of the Institute again. Alongside the presentation about Spanish culture and the work of the Institute, the programme for our students was interactive and interesting. They also saw the exhibition, played amazing games, danced salsa, and renewed their knowledge of Spanish. It was an awesome day and all of the visitors got interesting gifts from the Institute.
