There was no StemCo competition without International School students obtaining awards and showing all of their talents. This Spring season was no exception – International School students won four awards and 23 certificates of participation.

This time, International School students were awarded three silver and one bronze award in Biology, and we couldn’t be more proud! Year 8 students, Jelena Brkić and Mateja Baketarić, won silver awards, as well as Year 11 student Milica Banić, whereas Year 10 student, Jovana Ignjatović won a bronze award. Some of the students competed in various subject areas and received more than one certificate.

The StemCo competition is useful and fun. The questions required using problem-solving skills and the correct answer couldn’t be found online, but the students could use books, textbooks and the Internet to look up all the information that they needed in order to get the correct answers.

The students contributed to the overall improvement of their knowledge and skills in the given subject areas, they had fun and they enriched their student portfolios.

Congratulations!
