School stories

Science Fair marked this week at International School. The students showed their scientific curiosity through exhibits covering a wide range of topics. The Fair, like many times before, was a great success and witnessed an enthusiastic response from both students and teachers.

A great opportunity for students to show their talents, learn new concepts, and get inspired

The stands were set up in the school restaurant – the Psychology stand demonstrated interesting cognitive tasks, with each one of them showing the specifics of human reasoning. By demonstrating them, the students were able to point out the differences between humans and AI when it comes to logical reasoning and speed in information processing.

The Math stand focused on differences in solving Sudoku by humans and AI and compared the results.

The Art and Design stand showed some incredible geometric, optical and kinetic art experiments demonstrating how science and art can go hand-in-hand. The Physics stand displayed various experiments, while the Computer Science stand showed the authenticity of AI and human output.

Science Fair was a fantastic opportunity for students to show their talents, learn new concepts, and get inspired. International School teachers are always fond of promoting scientific curiosity, critical thinking, communication skills, creativity, and confidence in students.
