School storiesWorld Mental Health Day

International School pays great attention to the well-being of its students and employees, so marking World Mental Health Day didn’t come as a surprise. Students, members of LINK KidZ & Youth Without Borders Community Club, together with Tatjana Koluvija, the leader of the club, dedicated that whole week to raising awareness of mental health issues.

World Mental Health Day“Mental Health Week: How to overcome the fear of assessments and exams?”

LINK kidZ & Youth WBCC started its activities at International School with the project “Mental Health Week: How to overcome the fear of assessments and exams?” Students prepared the materials and advice from different sources and presented it to students of Lower Secondary programme, as well as Year 10 students who are going to have their first assessments in October. Throughout the whole week, the students were attending some of the classes and were spreading awareness about this topic among their schoolmates. Presentations were prepared in a creative way to be interesting enough for the students and to send the right message.

The students made an effort to let their schoolmates see that mental balance is important and that it is something we should take care of and work on. LINK kidZ & Youth WBCC will ambitiously continue implementing their activities through support to children in need and creating a positive impact on society and the environment.
