Maja Milosavljevic is a dedicated Computer Science and Robotics teacher with a comprehensive academic background and rich professional experience. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade. Additionally, she enhanced her skills through an IT Bootcamp at the Divac Foundation and is an alumna of Stanford University’s prestigious online Python programming course. Throughout her career, Maja has gained valuable professional training and hands-on teaching experience in several schools across Belgrade. She is passionate about innovative teaching methods and is the author and moderator of the acclaimed seminar, “Escape Classroom – a universal teaching method for encouraging active learning.”
This program has received multiple awards and recognition for its impactful approach to professional development for educators. Maja is also an active member of the Educational and Creative Center, where she contributes her expertise towards shaping engaging educational practices. Her dedication to educational excellence is reflected in her volunteer work within the “BG praksa” program, organized by the Secretariat for Sport and Youth in 2014. She has represented the Balkans at the World Education Summit and participated in Mensa’s conference dedicated to gifted students in Serbia. As an educational consultant at QAcademy, she continues to influence the future of education by providing innovative insights and strategies.
In her work with children, Maja focuses on fostering independence, creativity, logical and critical thinking, and cultivating assertive communication skills. She believes in nurturing teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience through her teaching approach.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Maja loves traveling, reading books, engaging in arts and crafts, dancing Zumba, and spending quality time with her family, beloved animals, and friends. Her multifaceted interests and dedication to continuous learning make her a passionate advocate for inspiring young minds and elevating educational standards.
