Dunja Mayer, a dedicated history teacher, earned her degree in history from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade.
Her primary goal is to inspire curiosity and a passion for learning about the past in her students, equipping them with the necessary tools to approach history in an objective, scientific, and systematic manner.
She believes that understanding historical events not only provides insight into the present but also develops essential critical thinking skills. Dunja enjoys socializing, traveling, reading, and staying physically active in her free time, which enriches her perspective and teaching approach. As a historian with a keen analytical mindset, she carefully examines the bigger picture while paying attention to details, enabling her to prioritize and select the most relevant information from a wealth of data. In addition to her expertise in history, Dunja is also a qualified and experienced German teacher, fluent in both German and English, which allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of students.
She possesses a broad spectrum of skills, including excellent verbal communication, international experience, strong educational abilities, patience, and a genuine understanding of each individual’s personal needs.
Dunja excels at explaining complex information in a clear, concise manner and is committed to continuous self-improvement through ongoing education and professional development.
