In honor of Pi Day on March 14th, International School mathematics teachers organized presentations for Lower Secondary and Year 10 students, delving into the significance of the mathematical constant Pi. Pi, approximately equal to 3.14159, represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, embodying a fundamental concept in geometry and mathematics.

The interactive session aimed to enlighten students about the importance of constant Pi, after which they gained a deeper understanding of the role Pi plays in shaping our understanding of the world around us.

Celebrating Pi Day served not only as a fun activity but also as a meaningful educational experience, fostering a greater appreciation for mathematics and its relevance in our lives. By embracing the wonders of Pi, students were inspired to explore the endless mathematical possibilities, paving the way for future discoveries and innovations.
