Sofija Stojanović is a Chemistry and Physics Teacher. She graduated from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry of the University of Belgrade, where she is currently working on her PhD and researching the influence of microwaves on the kinetics of chemical reactions. The areas of scientific research in which she worked were spectroscopic research of works of art for conservation and restoration, and magnetic resonance imaging with an emphasis on sensitivity in the study of neurodegenerative diseases. She worked in medical high schools, and art and technical schools in Serbia and China. She has a developed multidisciplinary approach and tries to awaken interest in natural sciences in her students. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in nature and many different hobbies.
