We recently had the pleasure of welcoming preschoolers from Mega Kids Kindergarten, who spent an inspiring and activity-filled day at our school discovering how learning and technology come together in exciting ways. From the moment they arrived, the youngest visitors were immersed in a dynamic environment designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Learning Through Play: A Fun Introduction to Logic
The visit was thoughtfully organized by our Digital Literacy teacher, Marko Nikolić, who prepared a series of engaging, age-appropriate activities. One of the first challenges the children explored was an animal-themed Sudoku game. Through play, they began developing essential logical thinking and problem-solving skills, all while enjoying a colorful and interactive experience tailored just for them.
Stepping Into New Worlds: A First VR Experience
A true highlight of the day was the virtual reality experience. Equipped with VR headsets, the children had the opportunity to “step into” different habitats and explore the animal kingdom in a completely new way. This immersive activity allowed them to observe animals up close, turning learning into an unforgettable adventure. Their excitement and wonder were evident as they discovered how technology can transform the way we experience the world.
Meet Miko: Learning with an Interactive Robot
The fun continued with a special guest – Miko, our interactive robot. The children eagerly interacted with him, communicating, dancing, and exploring how technology can be both educational and entertaining. This hands-on experience not only introduced them to robotics but also created moments of joy, laughter, and genuine connection.
Building Curiosity and Confidence from an Early Age
Throughout the visit, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, smiles, and a strong sense of discovery. Experiences like this play an important role in introducing young learners to technology in a way that is both meaningful and age-appropriate. At the same time, they help nurture confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Creating Meaningful First School Experiences
Visits like these go beyond a single day of fun – they offer children valuable early exposure to a school environment, encourage social interaction, and create lasting impressions. By combining learning with play and exploration, we aim to inspire the next generation to see education as an exciting journey full of possibilities.
