Year 9 students recently visited the Botanical Garden “Jevremovac” in Belgrade, accompanied by their teachers, Ms Nadežda Šućur and Ms Lora Mitić. This educational field trip allowed students to explore the rich diversity of plant life and gain a deeper understanding of botany in a real-world setting.
During the visit, students walked through the garden’s various sections, including the beautiful Japanese garden. They had the chance to observe rare and exotic plants, learn about different ecosystems, and see firsthand how plant species are classified and protected.
This engaging outdoor learning experience complemented their classroom studies and helped raise awareness of the importance of plant conservation and biodiversity. The students returned inspired by nature’s beauty and the knowledge they gained through direct observation and exploration.
