School stories

Year 8 Lower Secondary students recently showcased their entrepreneurial spirit through the “Lemonade Stand” project, part of their Business class with teacher Marija Milić. As part of this hands-on activity, students created their own lemonade recipes, designed unique branding, and applied marketing strategies they had studied in class.

From eye-catching signs to persuasive slogans, the students embraced every opportunity to put their business knowledge into action. But the project didn’t stop at making and selling delicious lemonade – it also carried a deeper purpose. All proceeds from the event were donated to support a humanitarian cause, adding an important layer of empathy and social responsibility to the learning experience.

Through this project, students not only developed valuable academic and practical skills in marketing and entrepreneurship but were also encouraged to reflect on the importance of empathy, collaboration, and using their talents to make a positive difference in the world around them. It was a meaningful reminder that learning goes far beyond textbooks.
