We had the pleasure of welcoming preschool children from Trešnjober Kindergarten to International School for a memorable visit filled with curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning. This special day offered young learners their first glimpse into a modern, technology-driven educational environment.

Learning Through Play and Exploration

The visit was hosted by Marko Nikolić, our Digital Literacy and Soft Skills teacher, who designed a series of engaging and interactive activities tailored specifically to the age and interests of the children. Through guided play, the preschoolers explored how learning can be both exciting and meaningful.

Each activity was carefully crafted to introduce them to new concepts while encouraging active participation, imagination, and collaboration in a supportive setting.

Technology That Inspires Young Minds

Throughout the visit, children had the opportunity to experience some of the innovative tools that are part of everyday learning at International School. They eagerly took part in a fun and dynamic Kahoot! quiz, tested their knowledge through play, and developed teamwork skills in an interactive environment.

One of the highlights of the day was the exploration of the underwater world using VR glasses, which allowed the children to immerse themselves in a completely new and exciting perspective. Their enthusiasm continued as they met Miko, a friendly educational robot, with whom they danced, played, and interacted – bringing learning to life in a joyful and memorable way.

Building Confidence in a New Environment

Experiences like this play an important role in helping young children feel comfortable and confident in a school setting. By engaging with technology, participating in group activities, and exploring new ideas, they begin to build a positive connection with learning from an early age.

The visit also provided a glimpse into the supportive and stimulating environment that defines International School – where curiosity is encouraged, and every child is inspired to explore their full potential.
