Miloš Slavković is a dedicated and passionate educator specializing in Global Perspectives. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade, earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Language, Literature, and Culture. His academic journey is complemented by his TEFL certification, which equips him with advanced skills in teaching English as a foreign language. Additionally, he is proficient in Spanish, further broadening his linguistic and cultural expertise.

With over 3.5 years of experience working at a private language school in Belgrade, Miloš served not only as an English teacher but also as a recruiter, helping to select and mentor new teachers. He later transitioned to online teaching, where he dedicated 4.5 years to working with Chinese students, delivering engaging English lessons in a virtual environment. This experience has strengthened his adaptability and skill in using technology effectively to foster learning.

Miloš finds teaching incredibly rewarding because it provides him with the opportunity to combine creativity with structure, allowing for innovative and meaningful educational experiences. His primary goal as an educator is to cultivate critical thinking among his students. He encourages learners to analyze, question, and deeply engage with the material, fostering a mindset of inquiry and curiosity.

He emphasizes the importance of integrating students’ existing knowledge and personal interests into classroom activities, making lessons more relevant and stimulating. By weaving students’ world experiences into discussions and projects, Miloš creates a positive, inclusive, and warm classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and mutual respect.

Outside of his professional life, Miloš is an avid traveler, often exploring new destinations and cultures, which enriches his worldview and teaching approach. He enjoys spending quality time with friends, going out, and traveling. A passionate music lover, he enjoys listening to various genres, and as a cinephile, he especially appreciates movies from Pedro Almodóvar. His diverse interests and personal passions enable him to connect easily with students and bring enthusiasm and authenticity into his teaching of Global Perspectives.
