International School is proud to announce that our Teacher of the Month for November is Ms Lara Filipović, Psychology teacher, school psychologist, and counsellor whose warm, supportive, and highly professional approach has made her one of the most trusted members of our school community.

Ms Filipović is known for her friendly, approachable, and gentle manner, yet she enjoys great respect among students thanks to her expertise, communication skills, and professionalism. She naturally creates a safe and open environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and seeking guidance. Many students confide in her, seeing her not only as a teacher, but as someone who truly understands them and treats them with empathy and respect.

In the classroom, Ms Filipović brings psychology closer to students by explaining scientific research, theories, and concepts in a clear, engaging, and relatable way. Her lessons are meaningful, interactive, and often enriched with humour, making even the most complex topics easier to understand.

As a school psychologist and counsellor, she consistently goes above and beyond to support students’ well-being. She is always smiling, always approachable, and always ready to help anyone who needs advice, support, or simply someone to talk to.
