The Student Council recently organized a humanitarian initiative within the project “Easter in Kosovo and Metohija,” once again highlighting the strong spirit of solidarity that defines our school community. This meaningful action brought together students, teachers, and the wider school environment with a shared goal – to support those in need during the Easter period.
Strong Response from Students Across Year Groups
Students from different year groups actively participated in the initiative, contributing donations and showing genuine willingness to help others. The response was both heartfelt and inspiring, demonstrating that empathy and compassion are deeply rooted values among our students.
Through their engagement, students showed that they understand the importance of community and social responsibility – not just as concepts, but as actions that can make a real difference.
From School Community to Wider Impact
The collected donations were carefully prepared and delivered by the President of the Student Council, Jovana Ignjatović, who personally brought the packages to MTS Hall. From there, they became part of a broader humanitarian effort aimed at supporting families in Kosovo and Metohija.
This step connected our school initiative with a larger network of support, ensuring that every contribution reached those who need it most.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Activities like this go far beyond traditional learning. They provide students with the opportunity to develop essential life values – empathy, kindness, and a sense of responsibility toward others.
By participating in humanitarian initiatives, students gain a deeper understanding of the impact they can have on society, learning that even small acts of generosity can create meaningful change.
A Community Built on Values
We are proud of our students for their generosity, unity, and readiness to help. Their actions are a powerful reminder that education is not only about academic achievement, but also about shaping individuals who contribute positively to the world around them.
Together, through compassion and action, our students continue to prove that positive change starts within the community – and grows far beyond it.
