Year 12 students from the Elite Honours Class recently attended a guest lecture organised within their Computer Science course and guided by Ms Maja Milosavljević. The session was delivered by Lazar Milosavljević, Software AI/ML Program and Project Manager at AMD, who introduced students to the dynamic field of Digital Innovation and Emerging Technologies.
Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Future Technologies
During the lecture, students gained a deeper understanding of current trends shaping the digital world, with particular attention given to the rapid development and real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence.
Through concrete examples from the technology industry, they were able to see how advanced solutions move from concept to implementation, transforming the way we live, work, and communicate.
Connecting Classroom Knowledge with the Industry
This experience offered valuable perspective beyond the traditional classroom environment.
Students were encouraged to think critically about the future of technology, recognise emerging career paths, and understand the skills required to succeed in an increasingly digital and innovation-driven world.
Encounters like this play an important role in the learning journey of the Elite Honours Class, strengthening the connection between academic knowledge and real-world technological progress while inspiring students to explore their own future in computer science and beyond.
