We are proud to announce that Year 10 student Hu Xuanyi has received recognition from Immerse Education, becoming one of the first entrants to submit his essay and being awarded the status of Certified Entrant. In doing so, he has earned an invitation to join the Immerse Scholars’ Salons – exclusive online academic forums led by world-class tutors and guest speakers. These complimentary sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to deepen subject knowledge, refine writing and critical thinking skills, and connect with ambitious peers from around the globe.
The essay competition is open to students aged 13-18 worldwide and invites submissions in response to over twenty carefully crafted questions spanning a wide range of topics – from Architecture and Medicine to Creative Writing, Film Studies, Engineering, Law and more. Entrants may submit one original essay (up to 500 words) in English via the official entry form. The competition offers significant rewards, including full scholarships (100 %) to attend an Immerse programme (either online or at leading institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Sydney or University College London), as well as partial scholarships.
We congratulate Hu Xuanyi on his proactive approach and academic ambition. His early submission and recognition reflect the spirit of our school’s commitment to continuous learning.
