School stories

Year 8 students recently took part in an interdisciplinary lesson held by History teacher, Sanja Bogdanović, and English teacher, Anđelka Đorđević. The lesson connected language learning with historical understanding through the topic “Passive Voice and the Industrial Revolution”.

Students explored key inventions and discoveries from the period of the Industrial Revolution and used their knowledge of the passive voice to write news articles reporting on these innovations. This creative approach allowed them to strengthen both their grammatical skills and their understanding of an important historical era.

By combining English and History, the teachers provided students with a dynamic learning experience that demonstrated how different subjects can complement each other in meaningful and practical ways.
