School stories

International School had the pleasure of welcoming preschoolers from Mega Kids 4 Kindergarten, who enjoyed an interactive and inspiring introduction to school life. Through a series of thoughtfully designed activities, the children explored technology, nature, teamwork, and creative expression.

A Warm Welcome to the School Environment

The young visitors were warmly welcomed by Marija Milić, Business and Economics teacher, together with the school principal Tatjana Vilček, who guided them through the school and each activity with care and enthusiasm. The visit unfolded in a joyful and supportive atmosphere, where children felt safe and encouraged to explore.

Meeting Miko the Robot – Technology as a Learning Ally

One of the most exciting moments was meeting Miko, the interactive learning robot that supports education through conversation and guided tasks. The children were delighted to communicate with the robot, discovering how technology can make learning dynamic, engaging, and fun.

Exploring Space and Nature Through VR

Using VR headsets, the preschoolers travelled beyond the classroom to explore stars, planets, and natural environments. As they described what they saw and shared their impressions, they developed observation skills, curiosity, and confidence in expressing their thoughts.

Learning Through Cooperation and Play

Through large group puzzles and social board games, children practised cooperation, patience, and respect for rules. By sharing, taking turns, and supporting one another, they learned that teamwork leads to better results and stronger friendships.

A Digital Nature Quiz and Creative Expression

An interactive digital nature quiz encouraged them to identify plants, animals, and habitats, strengthening early digital literacy and communication skills. The visit concluded with a creative drawing activity, where the children expressed their ideas about friendship and helping others, proudly sharing their artwork with the group.

School as a Space for Curiosity and Joy

Each activity was carefully designed to nurture communication, emotional awareness, cooperation, curiosity, and independence. The visit offered a warm and inspiring introduction to school life, showing that learning can be active, innovative, and joyful.
