School stories

Year 3 students from International School enjoyed an educational trip to the Vinča Archaeological Site, where they discovered fascinating stories about life thousands of years ago.

During their visit, students explored the rich history of the Vinča culture, one of Europe’s most significant prehistoric civilisations. Guided by an expert, they learnt about ancient settlements, everyday life, pottery and the tools used by people who lived in the area thousands of years ago.

Bringing History to Life

The students had the opportunity to observe authentic archaeological artefacts, examine ancient pottery and discover how people once lived, worked and created objects by hand. Their curiosity was evident as they listened to explanations, asked questions and shared their observations.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real historical discoveries, encouraging students to develop their curiosity, critical thinking and appreciation of cultural heritage.

Through experiences like this, International School makes learning more engaging and meaningful, inspiring students to explore the world beyond the classroom.
