International School is delighted to recognize Ms. Nadežda Šućur, our Biology and Science teacher, as the Teacher of the Month for October. Known for her bright spirit, creativity, and infectious enthusiasm, Ms. Nađa brings a unique blend of humour, innovation, and warmth into her classroom every single day.

Her lessons are anything but ordinary. Ms. Nađa is the kind of teacher who will make clouds inside the classroom, extract pigments from plants, determine blood types, or – only for the bravest students – offer a live demonstration of dissection. These dynamic, hands-on activities are not just exciting; they are essential for deep understanding. Through practical experiments, students engage with science in a real, tangible way, developing curiosity, confidence, and lasting knowledge that goes far beyond textbooks.

Ms. Nađa is also well-known among students for her love of singing. She can reach impressively high notes – something she uses, with a touch of playful charm, whenever classroom discipline needs a gentle reminder. Her personality fills the room just as brightly as her lessons.

What truly sets Ms. Nađa apart is her relationship with students. She is always ready to listen, ready to help, and ready to work beside them. Her friendly, approachable manner creates an environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated.
