French teacher, Marija Panić, graduated from the French Language and Literature Department at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Marija obtained a PhD degree in French medieval literature from the University of Kragujevac, where she teaches courses on French literature and publishes papers on the literature of France and French-speaking countries.

At International School, Marija wants to share with her students the joy and excitement of exploring the French language and the culture of the countries where it is spoken. In order to do so, Marija will use her previous experience of teaching CIE French courses. She believes that learning a language is a very exciting and creative activity that requires a lot of imagination, both from the teacher and the students.

Marija likes to spend her free time with her friends and family, as well as doing hobbies, such as reading, taking long walks, sports, birdwatching and learning languages, namely Swahili.
