International School Primary students from Years 1 to 7 enjoyed a truly sweet learning experience during their visit to the Chocolate Museum in Belgrade, where curiosity, discovery and, of course, chocolate made for an unforgettable day.

As part of our Classroom Without Walls programme, the visit gave students the opportunity to take learning beyond the traditional classroom and explore a fascinating topic through first-hand experience.

Discovering the Story Behind Chocolate

During their visit, the students stepped into the fascinating world of chocolate and learned more about its origins, its journey through history and the process behind making one of the world’s favourite treats.

They discovered the different stages of chocolate production and learned that there is much more behind every chocolate bar than meets the eye. The visit transformed learning into an exciting and engaging experience, allowing students to connect new knowledge with something familiar and much loved.

Through Classroom Without Walls, experiences like this encourage students to explore, ask questions and discover the world around them in an engaging and meaningful way.

Learning Through Taste

Naturally, one of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to explore chocolate through taste. The students sampled different types of chocolate and delicious specialities, discovering a variety of flavours, textures and combinations.
There were plenty of smiles, excited reactions and conversations about favourite flavours, making the experience both educational and great fun.

Sweet Memories Beyond the Classroom

The visit was also a wonderful opportunity for our Primary students to spend time together outside the classroom, share new experiences and enjoy learning in a completely different environment.
