We are proud to share the outstanding success of our talented Year 10 students, who won First Place at the International Exhibition of Innovative Student Projects with their project “Nura Watch”. This remarkable achievement was shared with the team from the Electrotechnical School Osijek, confirming the high quality, creativity and innovative potential of student projects presented at the event.
A competition that connects young innovators
The International Exhibition of Innovative Student Projects was organized by Prva srednja škola Beli Manastir and Druga srednja škola Beli Manastir. The event brought together secondary school teams from Croatia and Serbia, creating a valuable opportunity for students to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences.
The main goal of the exhibition was to encourage creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and practical problem-solving among young people. Through projects developed with dedication and imagination, students showed how school knowledge can be transformed into useful ideas with real potential.
“Nura Watch” – an idea with purpose and potential
Our students presented “Nura Watch”, an innovative project that stood out for its creativity, thoughtful concept and practical value. Their work demonstrated a strong understanding of modern technologies, as well as the ability to recognize real needs and respond to them through an original solution.
By developing and presenting this project, our students showed not only technical and analytical skills, but also maturity, responsibility and confidence in explaining their idea before an international audience.
A team we are proud of
The winning team consisted of four exceptional Year 10 students: Mia Zah, Anika Ranković, Irina Ubiparip and Mia Rakočević.
They were guided by their mentor, Business teacher Ms Marija Milić, whose support helped them shape their idea, develop their presentation and confidently represent International School at this important event.
Their success is the result of teamwork, persistence, creativity and a strong willingness to explore new possibilities.
Projects inspired by real needs
Students at the exhibition presented their work in two categories: Student Entrepreneurship and Technical Creativity.
The showcased projects were the result of months of dedicated work and included various products, prototypes, applications and business models designed to respond to real needs within the community. This made the event not only a competition, but also a celebration of young people’s ability to think creatively and offer meaningful solutions.
Excellence beyond the classroom
We are incredibly proud of our students and their well-deserved recognition. Their achievement reflects their hard work, curiosity and determination to explore modern technologies, entrepreneurship and innovative thinking.
Competitions such as this one show that learning does not end in the classroom. They give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge, develop confidence, collaborate with others and present their ideas in a real-world context.
Congratulations to our young innovators
Congratulations to Mia Zah, Anika Ranković, Irina Ubiparip and Mia Rakočević, as well as their mentor Ms Marija Milić, on this remarkable achievement.
Their First Place award is a proud moment for International School and a strong reminder that our students have the knowledge, creativity and confidence to achieve excellence on an international stage.
