School stories

Members of the International School’s Health and Science Club, led by Sofija Stošić, Year 12 student and the club’s founder and coordinator, represented our school at the Biotech Future Forum and Nature Conference held at Ložionica in Belgrade.

The students were accompanied by Chemistry teacher Marija Kovački and Mathematics teacher Daliborka Odobaša, who supported them throughout this inspiring educational experience.

Thanks to the initiative of the club, our students had a unique opportunity to attend professional lectures delivered by scientists from leading global institutes and universities, learn about cutting-edge scientific research, observe how medical innovations are merging with AI, and engage in conversations with renowned experts in the fields of biotechnology and medicine.

This experience has strengthened their scientific curiosity and inspired them to further explore modern biological and medical topics.

Events like this are incredibly valuable for our students, as they encourage them to step into the world of real scientific practice, speak directly with experienced researchers, and gain first-hand insights into the future of science and technology. Such opportunities not only deepen their knowledge but also motivate them to pursue ambitious academic and career paths in STEM fields.
