The International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB) has accredited the International School as IB World School no. 062142, authorising the International School to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

The International School enables Year 12 and Year 13 students to attend the IB Diploma Programme and acquire the internationally recognised IB diploma and certificates.

As an IB World School, the International School facilitates enrolment at universities around the world thanks to a comprehensive curriculum that covers different interests. The school implements an approach that encourages lifelong learning and teaches students to respect diversity, develop critical thinking skills, foster their curiosity and solve complex problems.

A holistic curriculum

Designed as a mix of compulsory and elective subjects, the IB Diploma Programme offers students comprehensive knowledge necessary for a holistic development.

Students foster this approach by studying natural and social sciences and languages, and they can decide which subjects are best tailored to their interests.

Internationally recognised IB diploma and certificates

The IB Diploma Programme enables students to obtain the prestigious IB diploma (The Diploma of the International Baccalaureate) that opens the door to the biggest and most prominent universities around the world.

If they don’t have enough points for the IB diploma, students attending the IB Diploma Programme at the International School can acquire individual course certificates (Diploma Programme Course Results / DP Course Results).

Access to the best-ranked universities in the world

The IB Diploma Programme is a highly complex programme that helps students make the right decision when it comes to choice of university. It is based on the development of critical thinking skills, digital competences, and psychosocial skills, not just through the Core programme and the curriculum itself, but also through numerous extracurricular activities.

Mathematics, which is usually part of the entrance exam at universities around the world, is a compulsory subject in the IB Diploma Programme, which is why our IB students perform particularly well in entrance exams for science programmes.

An excellent choice for students who want to study in America

International School’ IB Diploma Programme is primarily the choice of students who wish to attend colleges in the US

This doesn’t mean that students with IB diplomas can study only in America. On the contrary – the IB diploma opens doors to all universities around the world and is gaining popularity in Europe and Asia.

English-medium instruction

The IBDP curriculum is in English, and the students can choose to attend Serbian Language and Literature, a course that enables them to foster Serbian culture and tradition.

IB students are proven to achieve better results

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is recognised by the leading universities in the world.

Every year, IB students apply to 3,300 higher education institutions in around 90 countries, and research has shown that students who attend this program are more likely to continue their higher education than those who don’t attend this program.
